Tim Pool on Losing America's Youth

Timothy Birdnow

Tim Pool nails it.

Speaking on Waters World, Pool told Jesse Waters:

"The younger generation,” Watters began. "You saw the numbers. Under 30 swung like 32 points left, which is insane, and this younger generation, it’s like as big as the baby boomers. You can’t just forget about ’em. How do Republicans — I can’t even believe I’m saying this — win back young men?”

"I’m not sure they do, and it’s worse than people realize,” Pool responded. "18- to 29-year-old young white men with no college degrees swung 40 points to the Democrats, and I don’t think it’s all because they’re socialists. I think it’s because many of them want to burn the Republican Party down.”

He continued, arguing that young voters disillusioned with Republicans feel that "largely, ‘You know what, you do not support America. You are basically just Democrats, as it is.'”

"Politics is not this world where every two to four years we try to convince this guy to switch from Democrat to Republican,” Pool said. "The young generation built these views over the past decade, when they were ten years old, when they were 14, 15, 16.”

And he's right; the younger generation sees the GOP as nothing but disingenuous power seekers who have no intention of doing what htey promise but ask every election cycle for your vote and your mothy. This is exactly what brought Bush Sr. down, and what made Bush Jr. largely impotent after a while (I'm not talking about his performance with his wife). The GOP has lost MORAL AUTHORITY. These young folks know the GOP has zero intentions of working their will, or even following the law.

In that regard it was Congress that lost the election, not Trump and Trumpism, which is what is being blamed and the GOP in Congress is going to move to the center big time now. {Susie Wiles pushed Trump to follow the old playbook this election too and it worked about as well as it always does.

Pool is absolutely right on all points. BTW I've corresponded with him in the past and he is as sharp at all times as he is here.

We must remember the admonitions of the Bible "righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach thereunto". What these young people wanted was not programs or even policies so much as genuineness. They wanted the party to promise and at least try to succeed. That was what was loved about Trump in the first place; he was a straight shooter. But he became wishy-washy, breaking campaign promises and then not talking about the real issues so that the GOP could win the election. It cost the election.

Trump needs to go back to basics - his basics. He needs to become the straight talking, straight shooting happy warrior he always was but which he turned from for political reasons. And the GOP should learn that honesty and sincerity go much farther than gimme programs and high-minded platitutdes.

Of course the GOP is going to learn the exact wrong lessons from this and will double down on the Ashley Wilkes-style of acting above the fray, losing with good form, etc. that always led to their defeat. Nobody likes a holier than thou creep (otherwise Mike Pence would be President).

We need a new party to draw in these folks. Sadly a new party won't solve the problem; politics draws the same types of people no matter the party. It's why the Populists failed, and why most third parties fail; they can't find people good at the nuts and bolts of politics even while they may find principled and straight talking people. In the end the way the sausage is made involves killing, butchering, and grinding. Few decent people can do both.

There really is no way to save America, but we have no reason to quit trying. Just know that the tide of history is against us. God is the only one who can save us, but we have rejected Him. It's no wonder America is fallen.

Welcome to the Free Healthcare Gulag!

Timothy Birdnow

Rush Limbaugh, speaking on his radio show years ago encourages us to keep fighting.

He makes the argument for why they will wipe us out completely.

Rush argues a movement cannot sustain itself solely through hatred, but he was wrong; it worked in multiple nations in the past. It won't sustain itself SOLELY on anger but it will also offer other things, like other people's money and a utopian vision that is impractical, but it will sustain itself. And the best way is to butcher any opposition, which is exactly what the Democrats are plotting to do right now.

It will start small, with people working for Trump going to prison, but as they tighten their grip (which they will do as they acquire power over the mechanisms that promote free and fair elections) it will get worse and worse. That's how it always happens, in places like Venezuela, or Cuba, or the old Soviet Union.

Publicly Rush would probably still be talking to us to tell us to keep our chins up, but I suspect if we spoke to him privately he would agree that America is finished, kauput, zovarichno, wanle, terminado, samapt, Hasta Lavista. After a certain point you no longer have just a movement but a defacto reality, which is where we are now. Rush was a realist.

We can't stop fighting but we have to accept we aren't going to turn the tide - only ride it out and hope to swim to shore after it crashed on the reef. And that will be a strange, alien shore.

Our struggle will be to build on a desert island using local materials. The lovely city we were swept away from is no more; now we dwell in thatched huts we ourselves must make.

I wish our side would quit with the delusions. They just won, unless we are willing to go into open rebellion and refuse to let them take the reins of government, and I see no stomach for that. So prepare for the gulag where we'll all get free health care while breaking stones all day.

The Witches of Gotham and Albany

Timothy Birdnow

This is criminal conspiracy to violate the law.

The Supremacy Clause says the states may not simply nullify federal law, and the Constitution is quire clear on who controls immigration. Trump should send U.S. Marshalls to arrest these two tinhorn dictators.18 U.S.

18 U.S. Code § 371

If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such misdemeanor.

(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 701; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(1)(L), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2147.)

As soon as these two witches try going after any county for obeying the law charges need to be pressed against them, and they need to be arrested by Federal Marshalls and put on trial, preferably in a non-New York jurisdiction.

Only Democrats in Office when FEC is Hacked During Early Voting

Timothy Birdnow

More and more it looks like this last election was the worst in history, not just in America.

LThis is fascinating; there were only two commissioners on the panel that requires at least four to have a quorum, and their computers went down 46 hours during early voting.

The two remaining commissioners were, drumroll please, both Democrats.

On February 11 Trump nominated Republicans Ashley Stow and Andrew Woodson to fill the vacant seats and the Senate never voed on them; they were both stalled in committee. Once again we go back to Thune and the GOP in the Senate.

The attacker remains unidentified and what they were able to do inside the FEC's computer system is unclear, but it is interesting in light of the statistically impossible nature of the past election.

And who authorized who to fix the system? Without a Quorum the board did not have the authority to hire someone.

Who did they hire and why? What were the results?

The FEC received numerous warnings about vulnerabilities in their system, but did nothing.

Furthermore the FEC notified authorities via e-mail, a big no-no when dealing with a compromised system. And they never explained what "taking the servers offline" meant; there are all sorts of things that can equate to "taking them offline".

I read about this at the time and didn't concern myself, as it was about cyber-security, a thing about which I know little. But in light of the recent elections I am convinced there was fraud on an astronomical scale and this doesn't just smell bad it stinks on ice. What was happening there and who was involved? Seems to be this is exactly what we would see if someone wanted to steal the election.

John Thune has to answer for this too.

Wiles Out

Timothy Birdnow

Susie Wiles is out, Stephen Miller is back in.

Trump has said he was "advised" not to talk about the border or any of his Administration's other big successes by someone and I can only assume it was Wiles. As Chief of Staph, er Staff she controlled who was advising Trump and what they were telling him.

Clearly he ignored his own political instincts this election cycle, toned down, did not discuss important matters so much as inconsequential things like the ballroom or the triumphal arch or whatnot. Gone was the bombastic Trump of old.

BTW this is how Roll Call starts out this article:

President Donald Trump on Friday announced that Stephen Miller, the architect of the hard-line immigration and deportation program voters rejected this week, will become White House chief of staff.

No, this was not even an issue in this last election. The war in Iran and "affordability" were the top issues and they know it.

And while Trump was quite gracious about the matter, saying Wiles did a terrific job and chalking her departure up to her breast cancer, Mediaite reported he was "furious" at her for the catastrophe' last Tuesday.

I tend to believe he's right; I've never thought very well of Wiles and suspected her. I would add RFK Jr. has accused Wiles of taking money to sabotage MAGA and MAHA. She certainly was embroiled in the scandal involving two of her good friends in the Administration who were taking money from a Russian organization.

At any rate someone told Trump to keep his head down by and large. And the whole GOP refused to brag about what Trump has accomplished.

Conservative Treehouse deals with Wiles better than could I. See here and here.

As they argue, Wiles was an old-fashioned big donor type Republican and not MAGA. She played to the donor class. Undoubtedly it was she who advised Trump not to talk about the success t the border out of fear of angering the pro-amnesty crowd, especially the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

According to Sundance at Conservative Treehouse:

Mrs Wiles famously took the position of Chief of Staff on the condition that she could "keep the crazies” away from President Trump. Wiles became the gatekeeper to the White House controlling every point of access to the president.

One of the issues of concern when Wiles initially took office was her career as a lobbyist, consultant, campaign manager and donor organizer, gave her a career perspective predisposed to view finance as a key for influence and access. Those concerns never really diminished. Mrs. Wiles returns to her comfortable place in the political operation.

She was a former lobbyist for Qatar and held other big-money jobs before taking the reins in the White House, and she was known to rule with an iron rod; she was often called the Ice Queen.

In the second article Sundance states:

Several MAGA people ended up in conflict with Susie Wiles and she was ruthlessly controlling. It was Wiles who selected Pam Bondi (both from Ballard Partners). Bongino had a big run-in with Wiles on the Epstein stuff. Gabbard had to tread on eggshells around Wiles while trying to retain critical access. The MAHA agenda was considered frivolous by Wiles and the small crew she used to manage everything

Bongino and Gabbard, both good, loyal soldiers, were driven out by the Ice Queen while Bondi remained in office far too long.

I suspect it was Wiles who was the architect of the GOP strategy, which really was no strategy at all; they seem disunited and confused and remained fairly quiet the whole campaign.

One wonders if Ms. Wiles actually wanted a Republican victory; given her ties to the Big Money donors, meaning the RINO wing, she may have realized that if the Administration continued along successfully it would cement MAGA into permanent power, something the RINO's did not want, and thus it was in HER best interest to see a major loss, so she could be hired elsewhere. One of the big problems she faced was that a lot of the big money interests would not hire her if she facilitated the permanent overthrow of the RINO wing.

She is smart enough to understand that. No job offers for her if the GOP did well.

I've long argued the GOP is nothing but a bunch of hollow men in it for their own power and enrichment. They are thinking ahead to post-Trump and know the Democrats will punish them - and so will the big corporation interests that want the international markets back and all the rest. So people like Wiles will betray their benefactor to secure their own perceived interests. Wiles wasn't alone; it's why John Thune refused to do any major part of the Trump agenda. He was the ultimate in a do-nothing Speaker (except he kept the Senate permanently in session so Trump could not make any recess appointments). Congress was useless so why does it surprise anyone they got fired? If I had a worker as lazy were they I'd fire them too.

At any rate Susie used her wiles on Trump and it cost us the whole damned country. It will bring back the RINO wing to power, and that means there will be no real opposition to the leftward movement of America. Susie Wiles sold America for thirty pieces of silver. She may not have known that was what she was doing (just as Judas did not know he was handing Jesus over to be crucified - he thought they just wanted to question him) and she may have had pure motives even, but the result is the same. Her problem, like all the Establishment Republicans, is that she didn't understand that the nation itself was in great peril. Not it's going to die.

Trump did not fire her completely, just sent her back to the "minors" where she started - as Trump's campaign manager. Trump can't run again so it's not much of a job, like being exiled to Siberia. (I know; its more than just Trump's campaign manager, but it is now a rather pointless political position. It's officially his "political organization" but it will have little to no influence now. Miller will be the big dog.)

If there was duplicity, massive duplicity as I suspect, I am not surprised; they could not let Trump succeed. The old guard Republicans hate Trump as much as the Democrats. Mike Pence is out there now talking about how he wants to lead the GOP back to "values", meaning he's going to run again, shows they have just been waiting to take Trump out. The country be damned.

They have succeeded too. The GOP will not stand in the Democrat's way now, even in impeachment. I won't be surprised if Trump is not just impeached but removed from office, then prosecuted, along with all his family.

A pox upon the entire GOP. I may well switch to the Constitution party in the future. The GOP is unreformable.

Now, if we can just get Howard Phillips to stop running for President under the CP...

So Long Solon

Timothy Birdnow

Alas poor Salon, I  knew him Horatio.

Salan,, the leftist rag, has ceased publication even at this point where the Democrats now stand triumphant.

Interesting, no?

Salon, so named after the French concept of intellectuals meeting to discuss various high-brow topics, was pretty much more saloon than salon, as I strongly suspect they had a snootful before pubishing, but at least it was done in a high-brow manner.

Basically the Prog site went broke:

"The business realities of independent digital journalism have changed profoundly over the years,” the editors continued in their statement. "After careful consideration, we have reached the difficult decision that our publishing model is no longer sustainable. We know this news will be deeply disappointing to many of you, and we share that sadness.

end

How do you go broke in an era of ascending leftism when you are a leftist icon?

Two reasons:

1. Your target audience has changed. I believe that is so, because the Left has never been truly intellectual or reason based and while the Universities was chock-full of leftists for decades they never did elevate the discussion but degraded it. Leftism is not based on reason - it is an article of faith. It is driven by a BELIEF in the perfectability of Man and that history has a final goal of utopia. That is not reasonable or justifiable by any observational data. The Leftist is basically hopeful that Man in himself can create a new Eden, one devoid of God and that is what energizes them. They want Heaven without God.

But this is not an intellectual approach to reality. Oh, academia has the trappings of intellectualism, it does lots of studies and white papers and speaks the jargon, but in the end it is not intellectual because it dismisses out of hand any information, any reports, anything at all that disputes their belief system.

The end result is, unchecked by real-world evidence, academia has grown crazier and crazier, becoming completely unmoored from reality. They now say there are multiple "genders", for instance, in stark contrast with observational reality and natural law.

This translates down into the ranks and the young Leftist are no longer interested in the hypocrisy of pretend academics. They want warfare and strife and the thrill of hatred. So a progressive outlet that emphasized high-brow leftism is doomed to failure; they are the victim of their own success. Like Viktor Frankenstein they created the monster that would eventually destroy them.

2. On the whole they did NOT win the public at large. Theirs was always a specialty niche and they could not grow outside of their market, and their market changed because they helped change them. They had no legs, no outreach to those with whom they disagreed. The American People did not become more conservative, it's just they stopped accepting what mainstream media told them uncritically, and many of us just refused to continue to move leftward after Obama. Trump was, after all, a New York Democrat most of his adult life, and his policies were more like George W. Bush's than Ronald Reagans, and he certainly was not taking the country backwards much to the last point where it worked. So many in our country do not realize just how quickly Obama moved us leftward, and how crazy the Left had become thanks to outfits lie Salon.

So on the one hand the left moved way left, beyond Salon, and they did nothing to lure in moderates or moderate conservatives, who simply decided "no further" at some point. How do you stay in business like that?

The German Nihilist philosopher Frederich Nietzsche argued that science in the West would fail when it started digging into it's own fundamental assumptions that reality is real and knowable. He was right, and now science is starting to sound as crazy as the rest of the Left (the trans business is a prime piece of evidence for that). In many ways publications like Salon represent this very principle in action; they died because they dug out their own foundation. Why would younger leftists be interested in a bunch of old leftists who pussyfooted about so? They want hellfire and raw meat. They are the children of the Salon writers, who taught them to be that way, even while disdaining that method themselves.

What the Democrats do not realize is they did not win the hearts or minds of Americans, just inflamed anger at the public's situation in life. Yes, Saul Alinsky counseled radicals to "rub raw the wounds of discontent" and yes, it advances a political agenda oftentimes, but it does not actually change hearts or minds. The public will suffer terrible buyer's remorse in time.

Leftism has the seeds of it's own destruction built into it. Unfortunately it also has great appeal to some, particularly those not grounded in the Judeo-Christian faith that used to underpin our society. It is a false faith, Christianity without Christ or God. It is destined to fail, but it will drag as many down to hell as it can before it does.

And Leftism grants power and wealth to those who manage to harness it, but she is a fickle mistress indeed, and will eat her own as fast as embrace them. Ask Trotsky about that. And while the employees of Salon may not see it or admit it, they are now in the mandibles of the Left as surely as was Trotsky, or any other "hero" of communist revolutions who wound up in show trials before being executed.

It is the nature of liberalism to turn to leftism and to continue radicalizing. Grow or die. Moderation is not going to work with a philosophy that says the only road to paradise is through drastic change and anyone in the way is evil. That means you have to smite the evildoers. To the Left America is entirely a nation of evildoers. They want to smite everyone here - and they don't want voices like Solon, which was an intellectualized leftism. They see that as a voice for an "unenlightened" age.

The Russian revolution was started by the "Intelligentsia" but it was finished by the thugs and bullies and abusers. It's what is happening here.

Crime Pays if you are a Democrat

Timothy Birdnow

Turns out a lot of the Democrats recently elected are facing criminal charges or are under criminal investigation which the media couldn't be bothered to report until AFTER the elections.

The Democrats operate like an organized crime syndicate. Is it any wonder their members ARE criminals, or thugs?

Hope you enjoy your cheaper lattes for this America.

After Election, China Now Challenging U.S. in Philippines

Timothy Birdnow

And so it begins.

With the U.S. in an insane self-imposed decline and President Trump wounded like a lion shot by big game hunters, the Chinese are going to take advantage of the fact and directly challenge us in Taiwan, sending carriers beyond the U.S. defensive barriers in the South China sea, leading to a faceoff between America and the People's Republic of China.

From the South China Morning Post:

China’s Liaoning aircraft carrier strike group sailed beyond the first island chain last week to reach the southernmost waters of the Philippines, suggesting an intent to position itself closer to ongoing US-Japan joint exercises.
Philippine news channel BNC reported that the carrier group reached about 25 nautical miles (46km) east-southeast of Balut Island, the southernmost point of the Philippines, before sailing northeast on Friday.

That positioned the warships past the first island chain, a US-led strategic arc of maritime chokepoints running from Japan through Taiwan to the Philippines.

The four-strong Liaoning strike group includes the Type 055 large guided-missile destroyers Wuxi and Anshan, and the Type 052D guided-missile destroyer Huainan.

This is a direct challenge to the United States, a show of disrespect for a lame-duck President and an America whose resurgence has now failed. It's just the beginning; all of our enemies will start doing this to us now that the Democrats are coming back

The article continues:

If the carrier group holds its northeastward course, it could eventually enter the Philippine Sea, where American and Japanese forces are conducting their biennial Keen Sword exercise.

They may not go that far, but they will certainly go right up to the edge; this is pure power politics, to humiliate Trump and show Americans that we are weak. And we are, but purely by choice.

Elections have consequences and not always the obvious ones. This last election was about Iran in no small part, to show displeasure that the President was prioritizing our national security over an immediate relief of some pain. A nation so pusillanimous and selfish is by it's very nature weak and the Chicoms are going to show that fact to the world. Weakness invites attack, or just messing with us.

This probably won't lead to war with the U.S. - yet. But most wars start like this, with a provocation that often goes unanswered. After the Democrats take power the Chicoms will know there will be no U.S. response to larger provocations and eventually they will be able to simply stroll into Taiwan unopposed. Then we will have a terrible choice; defend an old ally or let the Chinese take over the whole region (including Japan). The Democrats will choose the latter.

If the French had stopped Hitler in the Sudatenland the Second World War would have been avoided. But they chickened out. Weakness invites attack.

Alito, Thomas Want to Retire

Timothy Birdnow

Word on the street is that Clarence Thomas or Sam Alito or both may retire from the Supreme Court. I would say now would be the time, making Congress to deal with it before the Donks take power. But John Thue will not push forward with replacements and even if he did he would allow the filibuster and run the clock out.

We are righteously screwed if either men leave.

Thomas and Alito are the only true voice of sanity on the Court; all of Trump's former appointed have disappointed to greater or lesser degrees (Amy Conehead Barrett the most - she's not quite David Souter but she's still young) and it's only the two actual conservatives on the bench who make any sense.

But both of those men are in their upper 70's and they don't have long to go. Sadly both will now have to work until the day they die or hand the country over to the barbarians.

America is sooo finis!

How Trump Downsized the Government

Timothy Birdnow

Here is an article about how Trump has gutted the Federal bureaucracy and how the Democrats are going to desperately try to restore it.

FTA:

Trump vs. the Bureaucracy
Trump is the first president in living memory to actually cut the federal work force.

Reagan tried. Reagan failed.

Trump actually delivered.

He also worked assiduously to make the President the boss of his underling bureaucrats, instead of the bureaucrats being the President's boss.

What a concept. The boss sets policy and tells the subordinate paper-pushers what to do?

That's a #ThreatToDemocracy.

Ben Weingarten:

Although Trump is often described as an impulsive, undisciplined leader, he has remained sharply focused on advancing reforms aimed at increasing presidential power over the unelected federal bureaucracy. RealClearInvestigations' review of dozens of executive actions and agency regulations found that the Trump administration has taken historic steps to shrink the branch of government he runs, make agencies more accountable to elected officials, and reduce Washington's regulatory control over the private sector.,,,
These efforts have reduced the federal workforce to levels unseen since the 1960s and generated hundreds of billions of dollars in cost savings. They have also produced Supreme Court rulings affirming presidential authority to remove subordinates and rein in independent agencies, along with deregulatory savings estimated at trillions of dollars.

"From almost the first day of the president's second term, the administration has been at work in the most extensive project since the New Deal to recapture for the elected branches what has been given away over many decades to the permanent bureaucratic class," Hillsdale College professor Ronald J. Pestritto wrote in a monograph lauding the president's initiatives late last year.

Of course, the Democrats want to undo all this. They want to rehire all the unneeded clock-watching do-nothings and of course all the unqualified DEI make-work check-cashers and they want to pour American tax dollars into US AID and all the other corrupt communist NGOs.

"We have a massive reconstruction task ahead of us," Rep. Jamie Raskin, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, has warned. "We will have to go department by department, subject by subject, and public purpose by public purpose to determine what we salvage and what we re-create."

Although Democrats will control both chambers of Congress next year, the center of gravity of their resistance will likely continue to be in the courthouses where they have challenged the president's agenda, alleging unconstitutional overreach and procedural ham-handedness. Through hundreds of lawsuits, many still pending, they have opposed everything from firing employees and eliminating offices to withholding appropriated funds.

Legal scholars say these battles over the scope and contours of presidential authority and the Constitution's separation of powers between the executive and legislative branches may have significant long-term ramifications. They also note that litigation moves slowly; many cases are not likely to be resolved until Trump leaves office. As a practical matter, often buoyed by a Supreme Court that has blocked lower court injunctions thwarting Trump's orders, the president has meaningfully reshaped the bureaucracy....

Shrinking the workforce

From the start of his second term, President Trump vowed to "dramatically reduce the size of the Federal Government, while increasing its accountability to the American people."

Through a series of executive orders, he froze federal hiring across most agencies, directed the Department of Government Efficiency to help cut the federal workforce through deferred resignation programs and reductions in force (RIFs), and required agencies to hire no more than one employee for every four departing employees. During its first year, the administration has shrunk the workforce by 220,000 to 250,000 workers -- a 10% decline. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a critic of the cuts, described them as "the largest one-year reduction in the federal workforce in over 75 years, dating back to the demobilization following World War II."

The decline has not been evenly distributed. The Center's analysis indicates that Trump has targeted executive branch departments whose work he questions. These include the Department of Education (down 39%), the State Department and associated agencies (down 37%), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (down 23%). His policies have also sparked mass exoduses from specific areas like the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. Conservatives have long considered the division a bastion of progressive activism. Up to 80% of its staff reportedly left. The administration has replaced those 300 departing employees with 130 hires of its own.

The workforce continued to decline modestly in 2026. In all, about one in five federal workers has left through resignation, retirement, or dismissal during Trump's second term -- though about half that number has been replaced. At roughly 2.7 million employees, the federal workforce has fallen to its lowest level since 1966.

Anyone wonder why the Demoleft is so desperate to destroy Trump in any manner possible?

Keeping a bloated government guarantees control of vast sums of wealth, makes sure the Democrats can control the direction of policy even when out of power, and keeps millions of people dependent on them. It was one of the key sources of their power. Lose that and they become a party that just competes in the arena of ideas - a terrible place for them.

Big Bureaucracy, control of education, and control of the media is the unholy trinity of the Democrats. Keep people fat and stupid and letting a government that moves only in one direction take care of them. It's the perfect storm for national domination. Trump messed that all up.

Paraguay's MAGA President Being Taken Out

Timothy Birdnow

Paraguay has had the hottest economy in South America this year, and the reason is because a a MAPGA guy - a Make Paraguay Great Again politician - has been in charge. Well, the internationalists can't have that...

We are seeing this everywhere a nationalist President is in office; the Left is coming for them all over the world. Look at what just happened in Brazil. Look at Poland. Look at Serbia. And look at what happened here in the United States.

All over the world the Left is making their move; it's a worldwide purge.

Paraguayan President Santiago Peña attempted to resign over a scandal that broke involving the nation's digital bank collapse, and the Congress didn't show up so he couldn't get a quorum and thus now faces impeachment - and probably they will attempt to imprison him.

Pena had stock in Ueno, the bank that failed, so he is being accused of corruption. It's clearly a put-up job.

So yet another conservative national leaders falls. If it were just one or two places I would dismiss it as a coincidence, when it's all over the world it constitutes a pattern.

I am reaching the point where I do not believe anything the news outlets tell us.

Doomsday Plane is Airborn

Timothy Birdnow

Should we be afraid?

Now would be the time to strike America, in the despair and anger following this last fauxlection.

The Internationalists have been up to no good around the globe, and Iran knows we are likely to strike them hard now. Oh, and our enemies now see Trump is in a position of weakness and this is the time to strike.

Weakness invites attack. We are now in a phase where the GOP has cracked like an egg shell and the Democrat are ALWAYS weak. Oh, and Trump now no longer has anything to lose.

The Yellow Rose of Texas

Timothy Birdnow

Almost three MILLION voters added to the elections rolls just before the election in Texas.

It was a steal, plain and simple.

The Democrats are now joyous, promising to bring DEI back and all the other terrible things. I am reminded of Chancellor Palpatine in Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith where he shrieks in triumph while killing Master Windu "UNLIMITED POWER!" The scary thing is they actually will have it if we do not annul the elections.

Trump should have declared a state of emergency over the elections, and in fact he needs to do so now.

Every county in Texas shifted blue, in a state that has long been an extremely red state. And Texas was in the middle of a huge economic boom. Governor Abbott had great poll numbers. There were no pressing social issues tearing the electorate apart from the GOP. The border - long a huge problem in Texas, has been secured. Oil and gas - the big industry in the Lone Star State - was booming thanks to Trump.

Oh, did I mention these three million new voters did not have i.d. checked?

This could not have happened without the RINO wing of the GOP being complicit. They were furious the Republicans voted out Cornyn and wanted payback and were willing to turn the state over to the Daleks here to get their vengeance.

HOLY CR*P Official Election Administration and Voting Comprehensive Report buried all the way on page 193 of the document shows Texas processed 2,900,357 new valid voter registrations between 2022-2024 without proof of citizenship

Documented proof of citizenship like birth certificate, passport and naturalization papers is not required at the time of voter registration in Texas

56.5% of Texas voter registration were classified as "new valid registrations.”

This is extremely suspicious that 55% of Texas voter registrations were "new”

The Texas Secretary of State is one Robert S. Howden , appointee of Governor Abbott. Bowden has a long history of working in government without actually running for anything, and he has deep ties to business guilds and organizations, which suggests to me he's RINO to the core. Many businesses want open borders and in fact it was the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which has long promoted letting everyone in. That doesn't prove anything but it does make one wonder.

Here is Bowden's official page.

Howden just assumed office in July, I might add, and so had no time to fix this mess. But he still should have been AWARE there WAS a mess. Something fishy here.

He is just acting SOS, replacing one Jane Nelson. Nelson, a former school teacher turned state rep then senator, was an insider in the state GOP, the very RINO state GOP which tried to bring down Ken Paxton. Oh, it should be pointed out that when she was Sec State in Texas she was instrumental in killing Texas' participation in Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), a non profit organization that would scrutinize voter rolls and help states remove ineligible voters (ahem).

I do not believe this could have happened in Texas without the active participation of the Secretary of State. This Jane Nelson is a prime candidate; Howden was only in office four months and his staff was probably in on it and may well have kept it from him.

I would add Nelson, as Sec. State, sent out letters to a number of precincts to complain about people voting from commercial addresses - 8,537 of them - but on her LAST DAY IN OFFICE; she ignored this through her entire tenure at state but only brought it up in July of this year as she was marching out the door.

The numbers simply do not add up and there is no way you can make them do so without having to pretend a unicorn carried the votes from Neverland.

My money is on the complicity of Nelson and the other RINO's in the legislature, the ones who hated Ken Paxton. It's interesting she resigned from office in July, just ahead of what promised to be a very contentious election. It's as if she didn't want to be there when it all went down. Oh, and she only announced the FACT of her resignation, but gave no reason WHY. That is suspicious.

Now is when I wish I were an investigative reporter; I'd go to Texas and start digging and find out what this woman knew and when did she know it. I can excuse Howden on the basis of ignorance, but this woman had to know there was a big fix being implemented. I suspect she was working with the GOP in the senate to punish the voters for choosing Paxton.

If she did this it puts her on a par with Benedict Arnold as a traitor to kin, benefactor, and country. Hell is full of such.

In other news people are running for the hills, fleeing the DOJ to avoid being called before Congress and facing perjury traps. Can't say I blame them. They are on the Titanic and the last lifeboats are pulling away.

Grassley Plans to Die in Office, Cost GOP Senate Seat

Timothy Birdnow

Here is exactly what is wrong with the GOP, particularly the Repprobes in the Senate:

U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, 93, is rejecting calls from Iowa conservatives to resign so Gov. Kim Reynolds can appoint his successor before Democratic Gov.-elect Rob Sand takes office.

Grassley’s office says he is not resigning. Read more: https://iowaspulse.com/grassley-rejects-resignation-calls-iowa/

"Smokin'" Grassley will probably die in office and hand this seat to the Democrats.

Are there no statesmen in the GOP? Few if any.

Americans just murdered and are now eating the goose that laid the golden eggs (which also are plentiful and reasonably cheap now). America deserves what it is going to get (and it will be terrible indeed).

Rigged too Big?

Fay Voshell

As I've thought about all this, my suspicions grew greater.

I began to think the Dems overplayed their hand; cheated just too much. This guy uses the term "rigged too big." I thought it was perfect.

You might like to hear his take. I was encouraged.

Tim adds:

While I can't say for sure, I do agree the election results were unprecedented and there is insufficient justification for America turning so hard left over the issues they claim to not want. Yes, they might have handed Congress to the Democrats, but not at this level and not also handed over most state governments to the Democrats as they just did. Something does not add up.

Furthermore, this explains why there is so much hostility toward Pete Hegseth; if Trump is really biding his time, waiting for a counter-stroke (and it's out of character for Trump to be this placid) the Democrats would need a more compliant Sec. War if they get their radicals out in the streets when arrests start. I certainly can buy this scenario, although it does seem a bit far-fetched. A lot of things were far fetched not long ago that are realities now. Who think we'd put Muslim Jihadists and Communists in positions of great power as we just did? Who would think the Democrats would openly defy immigration laws? Who would think they would openly speak of punishing businesses that loaned money to the GOP or employed former i officials?

I may be paranoid but am I paranoid enough?

We have lost America; it may come down to a fight to the death over control of her before it's all over.

ADDENDUM: I did a web search for "'26 midterms stolen" and got a rash of recent posts from mainstream media saying TRUMP is going to try to steal the elections from the Democrats on Jan. 3, not that Democrats stole the elections this past Tuesday. Interesting. They seem to be pre-empting any sort of challenge by the Administration to the validity of the recent elections, even though Trump has accepted the results and is quite peaceable about it all. That to me is quite suspicious.

The Knives are Out for Hegseth

Timothy Birdnow

Told ya so!

The Dems and RINO Republicans know Hegseth is the only person who can stop an illegal coup against Trump. I think they are plotting something nasty now that they have the power and they fear Hegseth. They will probably try to impeach Trump and keep Republicans out of the chambers so they can't stop them, then if Trump says it is illegal they need Hegseth out of the way.

I am sure the RINO wing wants a good little woke toy soldier in this position, one who will back down if there is an insurrection.

Insurrection; it's what's for dinner. Why? Because the Left has a score to settle and now that they have enough political power I think they just might make a violent move just to teach America who is boss.

Remember, after the Tsar abdicated from office Russia was run by a coalition government, controlled by socialists, but moderate socialists. The Bolsheviks weren't having any of it and so they staged the October Revolution, a coup against the elected authorities. They forced the legislators to sign - at gunpoint - an agreement putting the Bolsheviks in power.

Leftists love that. It's in their blood.

I am sure they want more than to just rub a few noses in it, I suspect they are going to want to show they can destroy any political opposition.

For starters, they are vowing to go after corporations that donated to the GOP. They taste blood in the water and the taste is sweet to them.

So I suspect they just might pull something like what the internationalists did in Poland the other day. It will only work if the U.S military stays out of it. And that means getting rid of Hegseth.

We have to hope enough officers are there who remember their oaths of office, which is to the Constitution and not to protecting Congress as Praetorians.

A Terrible Election Post-Mortem

Timothy Birdnow

Monica Showalter is wrong.

What has happened is a dog has returned to it's vomit. Showalter is blaming Trump for the election and it really has nothing to do with Trump, and everything to do with phantom fears ginned up by the media that led Americans to seek "change" as they did with Obama. They forgot the lesson so painfully learned.

This is common. I've long argued that one of the cardinal sins of politics is boredom. Clinton was popular because he wasn't boring; it was a soap-opera in real life. Biden was boring which is why Trump won, and so was Hillary. Now the public is bored again, because Trump has not shaken things up enough for their tastes in the last two years. This is a Trump who is not plagued by endless attacks as in the first term and I suspect this "dissatisfaction" with Trump is that he isn't giving the show they want, so many people quietly support these radical Democrats just to shake things up. It's like a long-running show that has to introduce new characters.

So they put a bunch of crazies in power to entertain them.

I doubt anyone is aware of this but it is a real part of the decision making of many Americans, I fear.

Showalter is usually pretty good but I would argue she laid an egg here. Blaming this on Trump is like blaming your doctor for cutting the cancer out of you because it hurt.

Do Americans believe the Democrats will improve their quality of life? Get prices down? Make gas cheaper? Food cheaper? They cannot possibly think that. They may BELIEVE that because they want it to happen; magical thinking. But in the end there is no way they can THINK that. This was only a way to repudiate the Republicans (and I would say the GOP Congress more than Trump himself, who is working to do the will of the People). No doubt they voted this way out of sheer frustration and boredom.

But even if Showalter is correct, the answer is not to just give Americans everything they want any time they want just because they want it. That would be pure democracy, something loathed and feared by the Founding Fathers. Why do we have a Senate? It was to act as a restriction on the House of Representatives, which at the time was the ONLY elected office in the Federal government. There are times when the people with more information need to do things that may be politically unpopular. The war in Iran was one such, a clear and present danger that the Left refuses to accept. But it had to be done and in the old days "politics ended at the water's edge" but now politics makes common cause with our sworn enemies just to screw over the Republicans.

When you are doing what is right you have to do it no matter how popular opinion feels. In politics that means explaining what you are doing. Sadly the news media and the internet news sources people, especially young people get are biased and will not allow the President to get his word out.

I will admit he did not do a good job of communicating his strategy and why we needed the things he's been doing. But he needed to keep doing them.

America wanted all the illegals out and when Trump started rounding them up and repatriating them a bunch of people complained, saying he was being mean. Well, how else do you kick people out if you don't round them up and repatriate them? Trump needed to make that clear. And he needed to move faster on the evictions.

When a nation like Iran, which chants "death to America" tells us they have enough enriched uranium for 11 nuclear bombs there is no choice. Trump should have been a broken record on that. He assumed the public would understand you can't allow that but he assumed wrong.

And of course that meant gas has been temporarily high and he needed to explain better WHY it is high. In fact he had a perfect opportunity to blame the Democrats in blue states, pointing out their high taxes and ridiculous regulations. But he assumed everyone would already know that. It was a mistake.

Showalter blames the President for this but doesn't offer any constructive advice. She simply complains about things that were hard to control.

She says Trump alienated Latino voters. Well duh! That was going to happen when you start deporting Latinos. What does she propose Trump do? Essentially she is calling for amnesty with this complaint.

She complains too about corruption in the Administration. It is no worse than any prior Administration and Trump has dealt with many of these people as soon as it became an issue. It is only more obvious because the media hunts for corruption wherever they can find it (I know; my older brother is a labor Democrat and he's always talking about Trump corruption). But nobody ever said they voted Democrat based on corruption - that is a fantasy from the RINO wing of the party.

And of course she tries to blame tariffs, calling them a "terrible idea". The fact remains that the Progressives hated tariffs because they wanted a heavy, progressive income tax, just like Marx wanted.

If you look through the history of tariffs (and they were the primary funding mechanism for the United States until the income tax in 1913) they do not coincide with any sort of economic downturn nor inflation. Showalter shows she does not understand this. Tariffs were raised TWICE during the depression of f'21 and the nation not only got out of that depression but we went into the roaring '20's. People were paying less tax out of pocket. That was Harding and Coolidge who promoted those tariff increases.

Tariffs has not led to an "affordability" crisis and Monica should know better.

Every tariff hater goes back to Smoot-Hawley, the tariff increase at the beginning of the Great Depression. It did not cause the Depression (the Feds, who had pumped up the money supply during the twenties, contracted it sharply, triggering the Depression) nor did it exacerbate it. What it did was take money out of the pockets of Europeans, who got mad about it. But that was an outlier.

And the public in this election did not vote on tariffs, but "affordability" because they foolishly believed we would have deflation, without understanding the Fed is the only source that can trigger that, by contracting the money supply (which also would cause a recession at minimum). Deflation is destructive and we fought against it for decades during the late nineteenth century. It was a case of unrealistic expectations. And fuel prices are largely driving higher consumer prices.

Still, as our editor Dana Mathewson says, how is the economy so terrible? I myself have noticed restaurants are full, and I don't mean McDonalds; fine dining places. Starbucks are full; people are buying expensive coffee. If times were so bad they'd be making Folgers at home. The electronics stores are busy. Walmart is busy; I have to park far from the door and hoof it in when I go for my insulin. Bars and breweries are hopping. The economy is not bad if one looks at consumer spending. So how is this such a crisis? It isn't; the media just told everybody it was.

Monica is just plain wrong in this essay.

She complains Trump just sprang the Iran war on the public. Hmm. What do you do when someone has a bunch of nuclear material lying around? Spend a year talking about how you are going to bomb Iran? You MUST do it suddenly so they can't move the stuff. That was the mistake Bush made in Iraq; he jawbones about it for a year before doing it. Saddam had plenty of time to hide or move all his stuff.

She also complains about things like Greenland and Trump's trolling of Canada as if the man can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

She says she was told by a voter "this isn't what I voted for" and no doubt she did not ask exactly what that voter DID vote for. Closing the border? Done. Evicting illegal aliens? In progress. Cutting the size of government? Done. Make America Great Again means exactly that, and things like Greenland are and were a part of it. Monica didn't seem to try to defend any of MAGA with said friend. We need Greenland to defend against the Chicoms, who are moving into the Arctic (from which they could strike us with atomic weapons).

Showalter is usually pretty good but she laid an egg here. She may even be right about the voter's motives and she certainly is right Trump did not do a good job of explaining. But Trump made all the right decisions. What he is trying to do is incredibly difficult; he's trying to reform the country. Grover Cleveland did likewise; he campaigned as a reformer who would ferret out corruption and he did it, but he was wildly unpopular for it at the time and lost his re-election bid (only, like Trump, to come back and be re-elected after the public saw the alternative). Trump was guaranteed to piss a lot of people off. He was disrupting the status quo, and people are lazy and weak and prefer the devil they know.

At the end she actually praises NeverTrumper Peggy Noonan for wishing for a blue blowout to force the GOP back into RINO control, which she refers to as "first principles". Yeah; like we ever won anything with the RINO wing in charge! And Showalter actually agrees. That is political suicide. It would mean we go back to the days where we put principles ahead of everything, and do nothing. It means we go back to "comity" and being the party to better manage America's decline. It means we go bac to open borders, a big welfare state, not challenging vote fraud, high taxes and high prices and no jobs. No thank you Monica.

We are in a state of terminal decay and Showalter wants to play pattycake with the Left. And she says we need to "give the voters what they want". They have said they want socialism and open borders with this election; should we give them that, or teach them why they shouldn't want these things? Her way is simply surrender.

Now is not the time to blame Trump. Now is the time to support him more than ever. Shame on Monica Showalter!

Where do We go from Here?

Timothy Birdnow

Here is a pretty clear-eyed analysis of what went wrong and what may be coming, or should come.

I agree with most of his diagnosis, but I fear he is wrong in his prescriptons. Trump is not going to be able to ignore the penny-ante judges now; they will have solid grounds to impeach him for it. He could have done so over the last two years with Congress in the GOP hands. Not now.

He's not going to be able to cut spending. You may remember he tried to do just that and caught hell for it with the GOP in power; now, with the Democrats, he will just be writing another article of impeachment for himself and a series of judges standing in his way.

He's going to find it hard to finish the Iran war without any funding. Democrats are going to cut off funding for the military.

Trump wasted opportunities talking about his ballroom, and that little project is on hold permanently now.

The author calls for building a new Republican Party, a MAGA party. But if we couldn't do that when we were in power how are we going to do that out of power, when every single vote counts? I assure you the RINO wing is toasting with champagne right now, because they wanted us to lose and lose large so as to make it clear the MAGA way is a failure (as they predicted) and the key to success is to move to the middle and govern with "comity" with the Democrats rather than fight them and move to the Right (which used to be the center just twenty years ago). Karl Rove may act unhappy but he has no doubt been humming a merry tune. Thom Tillis and John Cornyn are probably at a strip club together putting fifties in g-strings and sucking down $20 dollar beers together right now.

The RINO's wanted this for a reason; they will use it to try to take "their" party back. And they may succeed. Fox News will be on board with that idea.

I strongly suspect Trump will decide he's done enough and he's smart enough to know that if he plays nice they MAY let him go once he's out of office, provided he clam up and go away. Trump has no way to protect himself or his family now, and that is the man's first duty, after all. He is an extraordinarily brave man, but there comes a point when that isn't enough. I don't care how brave you are you don't walk into a fist fight with a grizzly bear. Trump is smart enough to know that.

His party let him down, and America let him down. Now we both face the whirlwind. Why should Trump face it too? He already has. How many more assassination attempts will he face?

I don't know if they WILL let Trump go away quietly, but he no longer has the tools to fight back and it's pretty much his only course of action.

I would say we are probably going to see a "kinder, gentler" Trump in the upcoming two years, and he will probably be a quieter one at that. Maybe I'm wrong; it is his nature, after all, to fight and to talk. But every fight and every comment can and will be used against him. He has lost all his rights, except maybe to remain silent.

As the Second World War was wrapping up the British, in an act of extreme ingratitude, turned out Winston Churchill and put the socialist weenie Clement Attlee. Trump is victim of the same mentality, only America turned Trump out mid-term while the war was still being fought. It's an absolute disgrace and proves America has lost the ability to be a world leader. There is no fortitude, no courage, no loyalty to anything or anyone in America. It's all about the smart phones and the Lattes and the easy living. A nation that places comfort and pleasure over responsibility and virtue is destined for the ashbin of history. America should be ashamed of itself. History will not ignore these faults; it never does in the end.

We'll get what we asked for and when we do we won't like it. But the media will blame it on Trump and a lot of Americans will hate Trump, just as the media wants them to, and Mr. Trump will become the absolute nexus of blame - the American Goldstein for the two minute hate.

Why should Trump put himself through that?

I am sure Trump is privately seething at this massive ingratitude; I know I am. Basically he stood before the dragon and his fellows all fled. Cowards.

We should take this time to remake the GOP and purge the RINO wing for good. I doubt we'll do it though. And we should ignore the judges, but I doubt we will. We should make the entire GOP executive committee resign and put in all MAGA folks, but I doubt we will (they should have known how to deal with this stuff but they did not, and they did not fund anyone who unseated a RINO.) We need to build a rapid response team to turn out and raise hell over any and every act by Congress that is unamerican. We have to learn to fight like Democrats. That was, after all, what made Trump appealing in the first place.

And we need a moral and spiritual revival in America. God can heal the land and restore us, but He has to have a reason. America is a Godless place, an habitation of demons and every unclean bird. And it is so with the full blessing and support of a majority of Americans. Here in Missouri an amendment to the constitution to ban abortion and transing kids went down in flames. The Archdiocese of St. Louis did almost nothing to promote this. Commercials were running non-stop against it on the television, and they were not answered. The Archdiocese could have run commercials themselves; they didn't bother. At any rate this bespeaks an immoral America and God will punish an immoral America.

If I were God I wouldn't bless America either. We have forgotten Him, and rejected Him. I'd let us enjoy the fruits of our own labors.

We need a major religious and spiritual revival in this country; it's the only way to save anything.

Personally I do not think we CAN save America; a whole generation has grown up apostate or worse, and they have grown up with ideas that are monstrous, doctrines of demons, and they believe them. Morality and decency are Newtonian; for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Or as the Bible says, as ye sow so shall ye reap. We have been sowing a lot of weeds and are then baffled that weeds are the main crop.

Anyway I think America is toast, and not even an English Muffin, just plain old Wonder Bread toast, dry (Remember the Blues Brothers; Elwood always ordered dry white toast). All we have at this point is the ability to perhaps influence the shaping of post America. I said this before, during the Biden era, and I was surprised by Trump, but Trump was like Diocletian in the latter Roman Empire; a strong leader who attempted to right the nation and had limited success but only accelerated it's decline. Trump is not Diocletian, who persecuted Christians and thus brought the wrath of God down on the eternal city, but he is the last chance, the reversal, the reaction to the madness. Once he's gone the whole thing will implode. Maybe not right away (it took Rome a hundred years to die after Diocletian) but in the speeded-up world of modernity it will probably collapse much more quickly. Rome wasn't built in a day and it didn't all in a day either, but America pretty much was from an historical perspective on time and probably will fall even faster.

All we can do now is try to shape the future as best we can. It won't be the America we knew, but it could be better than the radicals want it to be.

Diocletian, by the way, instituted feudalism. He ordered that all working class people must stay at their jobs and the jobs of their fathers and could not leave. He issued this order because everyone was quitting work and moving to Rome to go on the dole, and so this both cost the government money and led to a terrible drain in skilled workers. Diocletian's answer was to just tell people they were stuck doing what their fathers had done. It was pretty much the end of Roman times and the beginning of the Dark Ages. We are going into a new dark age now.

So where do we go from here?

First, don't give up the ship. All may be lost but sometimes there is no point in giving up, and miracles happen. George Washington saw several miracles during his largely defeated campaigns. God moves in strange ways and He may forgive us and restore the land. We have to be in the fight even if it seems pointless to us.

Second, we need to remember. Hold America close to our hearts and do not forget her. Tell others, especially young people, what we had and what they lost and why. If you have any printed books, especially old history books, stash them away for the future. The Left is digitizing everything so it can be easily edited and they can erase America one fact at a time. They won't be able to get all the printed books though, and having them stashed somewhere for future generations could lead to people remembering and perhaps some sort of restoration may be possible.

Pray, and encourage others to pray.

Remember, the Christians of Europe had watched the rising tide of Islam swallow up much of it's territory, and when the Moors invaded France I am sure everyone thought it was over; the Muslims seemed unstoppable. Charles, the Mayor of the Palace of France, led an army on a suicide mission and he won a huge victory at Tours (aka Poitiers) leading him to be named Martel (the Hammer). Much later at the gates of the city of Vienna an international coalition led by Polish king Jan Sobieski stood there ground against the Turks, and won the great victory that drove the Muslims out of Europe permanently (more or less; they still controlled parts of the Balkans and Greece). In both cases it appeared impossible but because these people were ready they won. We must stand likewise.

Stranger things have happened; the Japanese were saved from a Chinese invasion by a big wind that drove the Chinese ships away from their islands. It was called the Kamikazi - the Divine wind. They would use the same name for a suicide squad later to no good affect.

God has blessed America repeatedly. The stories of Washington having God's protection are legion. During the War of 1812 the British were driven out of Washington in total defeat without any American firing a single shot at them. God Himself did the fighting and they knew it! A tornado swept through the British camp and lighting struck a number of them. By the time they left they vowed to fight no more; how do you fight God? As a much later saying went, your arms are too short to box Him.

In fact Bismarck would famously say
There is a Providence that protects idiots, drunkards, children and the United States of America," He did that because we were a very religious and moral country, by and large, and consecrated to Him. But in our arrogance we rejected our covenant with Him. This is the result.

Anyway the country is lost as we knew it but not all is lost; we can still affect the future and we have a duty to do so But let's be clear about it; we can't restore what has been lost; that would be tilting at windmills. Quixsotic (and I would point out this word is pronounced Kehoetik, not Quicksotic as so many mistakenly say - it's homage to Don Quixote of La Mancha.) We have to see the bigger picture. Politics is just one tool.

So hang in there everyone

The Big Lie in Texas

Timothy Birdnow

Joseph Goebbles, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda and the man who pretty much invented the Deep State as we know it, made a statement about propaganda that will never be forgotten by history. As Goebbles pointed out, if you want a lie to succeed you don't tell a small one. Small lies are believable AS LIES and people will accuse you of it - and the public will believe. Rather if you want a lie to succeed you tell a big, fat whopper of a lie. Make it so large that the public will not believe it could possibly not be true. Then they will believe you and your critics, who are dead right, will be dismissed as full of hatred for you.

The truth-tellers become the liars in the minds of the masses because your lie was too big to fail.

Which brings us to current American politics. In 2020 the Democrats stole the election, stuffing the ballot box all over the country and stealing multiple elections. Many were very close races, others not so much. Trump "lost" handily, with Joe Biden winning by more votes than any President in history. Biden even carried more blac votes than did Barack Obama, and this while cowering in his basement, peeking out of the tiny basement window looking for the feet of teenagers so he could use his intercom system to chase them off his lawn.

Secondary races other than for the Presidency were small lies, with limited cheating. As a result Congress was cloand se.

The end result was Trump learned of all sorts of irregularities and refused to accept the election results. This led to the rally at the Capitol which wind up being called an "insurrection" by Democrats and media types and led to a Bolshevean style crackdown by the Biden-controlled government and it came to within a whisker of the former President being packed off to prison. A lot of his associates did go to prison.

The mistake the Democrats made in this little beerhall Putsch was they didn't go big enough, left too many Republicans standing.

So the other night they corrected that mistake.

My proof? James Talarico, the absolutely insane divinity school dropout and proud socialist, a guy who just disappeared for weeks without explaining himself during the campaign, won far too bigly (to use a Trumpism) than he could possibly have won.

Here is an analysis of that particular election.

From the article:

Talarico’s win was remarkable not only because a Democrat shattered Texas’s red wall for the first time since 1988, but also because of the sheer number of votes he received. His vote total exceeded the Texas totals of every Democrat presidential nominee since 2016, including Joe Biden, who previously held the record. Talarico also outperformed Colin Allred, the Democrat who challenged Ted Cruz for the Senate in 2024.

According to Decision Desk HQ, the latest reported figures as of this morning show Talarico receiving 5,445,185 votes. Compared to previous Democratic presidential candidates, he got 40.4% more votes than Hillary in 2016, 12.6% more than Kamala in 2024, and 3.5% more than Biden did in 2020, a year of record turnout.

The logical thing to do, of course, is to assign that vast difference to Texas’s rapidly growing population. After all, the more people who live in a state, the more potential voters it has—and, as noted, Texas has gone out of its way to attract people who probably lean left.

According to Census Bureau population estimates, Texas’s population increased from approximately 27.9 million in 2016 to 29.2 million in 2020 and 31.3 million in 2024. That represents approximately 12.2% growth over eight years. By July 2025, the total population had reached approximately 31.7 million. Those are big changes.

Population growth therefore helps explain why more people might vote for Democrats compared to a decade ago. But here’s the kicker: Population growth alone doesn’t fully explain Talarico’s remarkable performance.

First, the 12.2% population increase occurred between 2016 and 2024. You can’t logically use that entire eight-year increase to explain Talarico’s 12.6% advantage over Harris, who ran just two years earlier because much of that population growth had already occurred before Harris appeared on the ballot.

Second, it wasn’t just leftists who moved in. We all know conservative businesses and individuals who abandoned California, New York, Illinois, and other economically hostile Democrat-run states for Texas. They’d add to the Republican vote total.

Additionally, among the new residents are many who are children, noncitizens (whether here legally or not), people who never registered to vote, independents who would never vote for Democrats or Republicans, and people who just can’t be bothered. Even if a disproportionate number of Texas’s new adult residents favored Democrats, it’s unlikely that all did, or even could, vote.

However, a decade of presidential elections requires an analysis that goes far beyond this post. It’s easier to think small. The most revealing comparison is between Talarico and Colin Allred, who was the 2024 candidate Democrats fielded for the Senate.

In 2024, Allred received 5,031,249 votes in his unsuccessful race against Ted Cruz. Just two years later, Talarico received 413,936 more votes, an 8.2% increase. However, between July 2024 and July 2025, Texas’s population grew by only about 1.3%. Although complete 2026 population estimates are not yet available, the available figures indicate that population growth was substantially slower than the increase in Democrat Senate votes.

Turnout is also something one needs to consider. In 2024, approximately 11.29 million Texans voted in the Senate race. In 2026, approximately 9.89 million votes had been counted as of November 5—roughly 1.4 million fewer votes, a 12.5% decline.

Thus, Talarico received more votes for a Democrat in an election in which substantially fewer Texans voted overall.

Meanwhile, on the Republican side, Ken Paxton saw a 29% decrease in Republican votes, or about 1.74 million votes, compared to Ted Cruz just two years earlier. That, too, is inconsistent with population growth, although there are semi-plausible explanations.

The obvious ones include (1) Republicans voting for Talarico because, while Paxton is extremely conservative, they disliked him personally, and (2) Republican voters staying home to protest how Republicans, from the White House down, have handled domestic and foreign policy in the last two years. Some in Texas especially hate Trump’s tariff policies.

However, while I can easily envision Republicans sitting out the election out of pique, I’m less convinced that Republican defections alone explain Talarico’s remarkably high vote total. It is possible that he really was an inspiration to previously non-voting Democrats or that Independents were magnetically drawn to his charisma and platform. Without examining the actual voting patterns, though, we’re guessing. Possible, though, does not mean probable. None of these explanations feels...for want of a better word, right.

For now, the numbers, standing alone without any deeper analysis, don’t offer any easy explanation for the Texas anomaly. One thing is clear, though: Talarico’s historically large vote total cannot be dismissed as the inevitable result of Texas having more residents than in earlier elections. Population growth alone does not adequately explain the substantial increase in Democrat Senate votes between 2024 and 2026, especially when total participation in the race declined.

And another point to ponder; Talarico was way ahead in the mail-in votes, which accounted for a staggering 40% of the vote total prior to the election. That means the for votes should have gone hugely for Paxton, as the Dems had voted already. Yet apparently there never was a surge for Paxton. That is odd given the way this thing shook out.

To me it is likely statistically impossible. But the Democrats wanted to make this uncontestable, and so too did the RINO Republican wing, who hated Paxton worse than did the Democrats for taking out Cornyn. I do not believe Paxton was just voted out; I believe the big fix was in on this election.

I think Texas was perhaps the most visible of these swindles but I suspect if you look all across the country you will find all sorts of new and inventive ways the Democrats stole elections, or at least padded their wins so they would be impossible to challenge.

I believe this is the application of the Big Lie. Democrats had to make any resistance to them appear to be rebellion and not principled. That was their mistake last time; they went after Trump and his associates with too thin a margin.

Democrats are evil and they are insane strategically but they are great tacticians; they know how to get what they want. It's just what they want is batcrap crazy. Republicans want things that are sane and reasonable but they suck at tactics. The problem is it doesn't matter what beliefs you hold, it matters if you have the means and the will to go out and get it. Life on Earth is all about doing; thinking and believing doesn't much matter. Victory is to the swift and the strong and the determined, which is why we are losing America.

I think the Talarico case is the first of many instances of fraud that will drop in the upcoming weeks. I suspect we are going to learn about a whole lot of new tricks from the Democrats. This has been ongoing for a long time; they always change up their tactics and the GOP is forever looking for the last season's fraud when a whole new way to steal is at work.

We won't be able to overturn any elections, but we need to make the cheating as public as possible. The Democrats think they have a mandate and will use it to it's full advantage. Our job is to make them rue the day they pulled this.
